Managing Submissions

Every time a visitor completes one of your web forms, their response is recorded in the Submissions list. From here you can review, filter, and convert submissions into leads.

Viewing Submissions

  1. Go to Web Forms in the sidebar.
  2. Click on a form name to open it.
  3. Select the Submissions tab.

The submissions list shows:

ColumnDescription
Submitted atDate and time of the submission
NameRespondent's name (if captured)
EmailRespondent's email address
PhoneRespondent's phone number
StatusNew, Converted, Dismissed
SourceThe form or Google Form that received the submission

Viewing Submission Details

Click any submission row to see all the data the respondent entered, displayed field by field. For multi-select and dropdown fields, all selected values are shown.

Converting a Submission to a Lead

  1. Open a submission.
  2. Click Convert to Lead.
  3. A conversion panel shows a preview of the lead that will be created, with fields pre-filled from the submission.
  4. Edit any fields as needed (lead title, assignee, source tag).
  5. Click Convert.

The submission status changes to Converted and the lead appears in the Leads Inbox.

Automatic conversion

You can set a form to automatically create a lead for every new submission — without manual review. In the form settings, toggle Auto-convert submissions to leads. All fields are mapped automatically and the lead is assigned to the default assignee.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple submissions using the checkboxes on the left:

  • Convert selected — convert all selected submissions to leads at once
  • Dismiss selected — mark submissions as dismissed (won't show in the default view)
  • Delete selected — permanently remove submission records

Filtering Submissions

Use the filter controls above the submissions list:

  • Date range — show submissions within a specific period
  • Status — filter by New, Converted, or Dismissed
  • Form — if viewing all forms, filter to a specific form

Exporting Submissions

Click Export CSV to download all visible submissions (respecting active filters) as a CSV file. Each row is one submission, with each form field as a column.

Duplicate Detection

If a submission's email address matches an existing contact in the CRM, the submission detail panel shows a Matching contact alert. You can:

  • Link the submission to the existing contact instead of creating a new one
  • Update the existing contact with any new information from the submission
  • Ignore the match and create a new lead independently

Spam submissions

Web forms can attract spam bots. If you notice spam submissions, enable the CAPTCHA option in the form settings (requires a reCAPTCHA v3 key). Go to Settings → Integrations → reCAPTCHA to configure your site key and secret key.
