Lead Scoring
Lead scoring helps your team prioritise the most engaged and valuable prospects. Bsynced CRM calculates a score automatically based on behavioural signals and profile data.
How the Score Is Calculated
Lead scores are numeric values (0–100) updated in real time as new signals are detected. The score is a weighted combination of:
| Signal | Points |
|---|---|
| Form submitted | +10 |
| Email opened | +5 per open |
| Link clicked in email | +10 per click |
| Email replied | +15 |
| Multiple form submissions | +20 |
| Phone number provided | +5 |
| Company name provided | +5 |
| Valid business email domain | +5 |
Scores above 70 are highlighted green (hot lead). Scores between 40 and 70 are amber (warm). Below 40 is grey (cold).
Viewing the Score
The lead score appears as a number badge on every lead card in the inbox. Clicking the score badge opens a breakdown panel showing which signals contributed and when.
Filtering by Score
On the Leads Inbox, use the Score filter to show only leads above a specific threshold. For example, filter to Score > 60 to see only hot leads ready for a sales conversation.
Manual Score Adjustment
Admins and Managers can manually override a lead's score:
- Open the lead detail panel.
- Click the score badge.
- Click Override Score.
- Enter the new value and a reason.
- Save.
Manual overrides are logged in the lead's activity history.
Lead Signals Panel
Inside each lead's detail view, the Signals section lists every detected signal with a timestamp:
✔ Form submitted 14 Jun 2024, 09:42
✔ Email opened 14 Jun 2024, 10:15
✔ Link clicked 14 Jun 2024, 10:16
✔ Email replied 15 Jun 2024, 08:30Use scoring to prioritise outreach
Sort the Leads Inbox by score (highest first) and have your sales team work through the highest-scoring leads each morning. Leads that have clicked a link and replied are the most conversion-ready.
Inbound vs. Outbound Leads
Inbound leads (those who came to you via a web form or email reply) tend to score higher than outbound leads. The Inbound badge on a lead card helps you differentiate at a glance.
Outbound leads start with a lower base score and rely on engagement signals (email opens, replies) to climb the score ladder.
